Name:Possible Roman buildings and multi-period finds

Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting from 1976 onwards have recovered a large quantity of Roman objects, including coins, brooches, pottery fragments and bricks. The scatter of these objects indicates the possible site of one or more Roman buildings, and aerial photographs have also indicated the marks of structures. Medieval and post medieval objects have also been found.
