Full description
Moat (Ordnance Survey antiquity). Depicted on 6 inch Ordnance Survey 1958 (revised pre 1930) as having north, east and south sides.
21 October 1980.
Unable to inspect closely owing to horses in occupation; but ditches apparently remain, under trees.
Missing west side is clearly visible as the edge of the island platform, which is irregular and bumpy.
