Full description

Site of old hall before Brooke Hall was built in around 1820, see NHER 10152.
Now occupied by modern houses in Old Hall Close.
Wall along road to west in chequered brickwork of about 1700, former garden wall.
Also on south; bears plaque in memory of Astley-Cooper, a surgeon born here.
Visited E. Rose (NAU) 28 September 1978.
